For the sustainable development of its own business model, eBay set itself the objective of tapping into a younger customer base. Together with the team at eBay, we developed the secondary platform, which was specifically focused on millennials as a target group.

The platform features a particularly young, fresh feel, a dedicated product range, and an inspiration-driven user experience.

i-ways developed the initial prototypes of the platform in just four weeks. Since then, we have been continuously developing Catch with responsibility for project management, development and marketing. Our contributions include user research and multivariate A/B testing of the brand, usability and design of the platform for optimized UX flow and performance.

We also built both the infrastructure and the front-end and continue to maintain the entire system as part of our close partnership with eBay.

The project has been a major success for eBay and continues to provide them with rapidly growing sales figures.
